Help with drive not readable

One of my data drives appears in windows but its not accessible. It tries to read it before going that it needs to be formatted then when I click the cancel button I get an error saying "D:\ is not available...Data Error (cyclic redundancy check).

Is this possible something that can be got back with a program that will scan and repair the disk?
