I am everywhere...
Hi there, i am putting up my fto for sale on the ebay. I havent sold anything before (but i have feedback of 8 or so.) hence im asking all those who are good with english grammer to help me do a write up that will possibly allow my car to sell asap.

I want something simple yet eye catching or something that just make the reader wanna buy the car... :)

It is a black 95 fto, leather interior, lowered with HIDS and usual fto toys (climate control etc).

All help appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT

Anyone sold a car on ebay before? if so, are there things i need to put into consideration apart from scammers...fees, commision, etc?

A car, all I can say is keep it simple, easy to read, bullet point its main attractions (over other FTO's) and LOTS of pictures

The main thing to do with selling a car on ebay is pictures, lots and lots and then say to email me for more.

Don't use large font.

Bullet point the points (good and bad but make them seperate) this will give the buyer confidence. Put at the end email me for my phone number this will also give the buyer confidence.

Also, A class... (My Dad had one for a company car a few months back and it is a terrible car. Understeers quite badly, uncomfortable for any journey more than a hour, fuel ecconomy is the same as his now BMW E90 320d but has twice the power. Only good thing was it served the purpose of being a reliable car that has alot of space for moving stuff around.) HR-V tbh.

Thanks man, gonna put all of those into mind when am doing it later.

A-class is GF idea, the one i test drove over the weekend felt like the body was swerving sideways on the wheels (TC on or off?) while the hr-v drive was smooth and spacious but dont have plenty toys like A-class (airbags, tc etc)

There wasn't alot of body roll in my Dads one. TC is no biggy but the anti falling thing is useful when it is windy as it rocks about.

If you can take a test drive for an hour or so on a dual carriageway it would be good to know the car better, the seats are not supportive enough - for me atleast at 5'9".

I am a bit so so about the A-class, the swerving (bodyroll, TC on or off, or anti falling thingy?) was really bad, i have to test drive another one before i can say for sure. Im thinking perhaps there is a problem with the one i drove. I felt like i was on a rocking chair with my eyes closed.....

What is the anti-falling stuff you mentioned?

I spent about 10-15 mins driving the a-class, the seats i didnt notice any difference apart for the fact that is is high up and you get to see the road more when compared to my fto. My GF sat at the back and says the seats are comfortable as the one in the fto- but then she dont know much about cars :p . I am same height as you but i cant really say - i need another test drive.

'Anti falling thingy' is DSC where it stops all power and applies the brakes to certain wheels - it might do more than that. I can't think of the version they use in the A class. :p

Remember that anyone looking for FTOs on eBay is already going to know all about them and most probably already wants one. They know how quick they are and they know what toys they come with as standard. You should focus on telling them why they should buy your FTO. For this reason don't spend too much effort describing stuff that applies to every FTO and concentrate on what makes this one worth owning.

In order for us to help, you'll have to post your full spec list, mileage and history details, the more detail the better.

If i get the time i'll apply it to my ebay template for you and see if you like it - its nothing fancy, just simple and effective.
