the windows experience gives me a overall score of 1.0 whaaaat!!
I take it to mean its meaningless. is that correct?

yes if its newer.

you need to run the experience index after the drivers and stuff is on, the test takes around 5 minutes, and then you will get your true score.

but its a pointless test anyway, it does seem to make pc faster after being run as it learns the new hardware.

slight problem here. windows activation says my version is blocked. has anyone else had this problem. My windows 7 ultimate came shrinkwrapped and has all the bits.

Do you think I have been had? What should I do

Should activate without issue over the net, try phoning them to activate it.

tried the net didnt work. phoned the freephone number,gave numbers to lady and she also said the key is blocked and gave me a 0844 number to ring tomorrow. getting a bit worried now :-(
