You sure about that? As far as I know gpu wise both are pretty much on par, but the 6950 2GB had the advantage due to it extra VRAM. But the MSI GTX560Ti Twin FrozR 2GB the OP quoted above is pre-overclocked and also £15 cheaper than the decent branded 6950 2GB.A 6950 2GB is a faster card than a GTX560/ti

If it's a retail CPU it will come with a heatsink, but you will need to buy a decent third party cooler if you wish to overclock it.
Well, I looked at this review here...looked at BFBC2 and Metro2033, the 6950 doesn't seem to be faster than the GTX560Ti:Yes I am.

The £199.99 MSI GTX560Ti Twin FrozR that OP quoted at #22 is 2GB, factory-overclocked to 900MHz and £15 cheaper than the 6950 2GB.I looked a wider range of VGA gaming charts, also with the OP wanting BF3 I was looking at the BF3 thread in the graphics card section and the 1Gb cards do seem to be at a disadvantage..

So what card would be better for bf3 6950 or 560?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think BD will stomp all over i5 2500K or 2600K, it will be interesting to see if they will be released in quantities enough for mass market or not.
But one thing I am counting on is to have an impact on the pricing!
