Hmm ok, try looking for a speaker attached to the case, its smallish. Just follow the wires connected to that.

how would it give messages if the psu didnt even turn on :/

That's strange, it should be tucked away at the front of the case under the hard drive bays (the bottom of the case).

ah yeh just found the speaker, plugged in and nothing happens still, psu doesnt spin

i just tried an old psu, i attached the 20 pin connector and the 4 pin connector and i got this high pitched noise, any ideas?

i was talking to someone who said that to test a psu you connect pin 16 and 17, yet my pin 17 has no wire in it...

ok, ive checked the psu in another motherboard, and it works

so, if the psu works what else would cause it not to work? and can i fix it?
