Could people cast their eye over a system I'm just about to order and let me know if there is anything major wrong with it, cheers :)

EVGA 750 Watt BQ Semi-Modular ATX PSU/Power Supply
Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Black 64GB 3600MHz 2x32GB DDR4 Memory Kit
Corsair 275R Airflow Tempered Glass White Mid Tower PC Gaming Case
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X Gen3 24 Core TRX4 CPU/Processor
ASUS AMD Threadripper PRIME TRX40-PRO PCIe 4.0 ATX Motherboard
CORSAIR Hydro H115i Addressable RGB PLATINUM Liquid/Water Intel/AMD CPU Cooler
Corsair MP400 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD/Solid State Drive
EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB XC3 GAMING Ampere Graphics Card

it a Mixed system I'm actually in infrastructure engineer so I use VMware and things like GNS3 a lot but I have started to play games occasionally like CS:G0 \ Destiny so I'm just trying t build a system which will cover most bases really

my main problem is I'm not a system builder so I don't understand things like memory speed etc isn't my thing I'd normally just by a DELL XPS Desktop\Laptop but would really like to get back in to system building again

pretty good system you got there... will you be building it yourself?

i think since you are going with a pretty powerful cpu you should go with a 360rad.. especially if you are planning to do anything that loads cpu for longer periods. if you are not fussed about the looks arctic has a well priced 360 aio

Thanks, this one is listed as compatible with the case I'm looking at it just the block which is RGB and not the fans lol but I guess I could deal with that :)

You should get 4 x 16gb ram so it can run in quad channel configuration for better perform.

I would get a 850w psu like a corsair rm has a 10 year warranty

Just a heads up:

Looking at the Corsair page you linked to it says:

"*Purchase bracket CW-8960054 on *removed - personally I would search OC for that model numebr* for compatibility with AMD socket sTR4/sTRX4"

Some cases have RGB (though most seeem now to be ARGB or DRGB - same thing) which can be used on the approipate header on the motherboard.

Corsair Link also works with Asus board to "better" sync your RGB colours (my Asus board works with it anyway. Needs Asus Aura install for it to work but doesn't control the ARGB header annoyingly). If you want I can post some screenies to show you?

Hi thanks I hadn't notice the need for the extra bracket and some pics would be great

I've just done a google search for the extra bracket: unfortunitely it isn't available on OC so I cannot put a link to it (it was under the tech spec section, hence why you probably missed it).

I'll upload some screenies into my Google Photos and post a link once uploaded

Thanks :) these are the kind of thing I'm not familiar with as in the memory channels :)

Would 8 x 8GB be even better?
No you have room for future upgrade.

Up that psu to a 850w and a quality unit.

Think i would get the CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES ICUE H150I PRO XT RGB PERFORMANCE LIQUID COOLER - 360MM to keep that threadripper cool.

Or this Rgb cooler.

You can fit a 360mm at the top of this case and has some rgb .
