Help with poisson distribution

Shame that you don't have the intellectual capacity to even understand the thread title let alone the question.

A good chunk of the population didn't take A level maths. Doesn't make them unintelligent. It does however make you an arse for making that assumption.
Christ man, get a sense of humor.

I popped to the shops earlier and some kid asked me to buy him some fags. When I said no he called me gay.

I mean its not as if there has never been a mis-titled or mis-spelt thread title on this board before... So some ppl thought you were talking about "poison" as opposed to "poisson"... Is that realy too far a stretch to think ??

And before anyone says "why would someone want a thread on distributing poison" ?? Have you seen some of the pish that gets talked about on here ??

Why does every single mathematical question on here attract everyone who doesn't know a thing about mathematics. The "jokes" are getting pretty old guys.

Seeing as this is a general discussion forum, you're going to get the jokers in every thread. Personally I find it hilarious that someone asking for someone else to do his homework for him gets catty when there's the occasional micky take :)

Some people need to get a sense of humour :)

How can you ask for help with a pretty simple A level maths question then insult someone's intelligence?

*ponders*

Poisson distribution isn't covered in the majority of A level courses any more. It's purely normal and binomial. It's only covered AQA wise if you do Stats 2, which the majority of schools will opt against as unis prefer as many Core modules as possible to be taken.

Been spending most of the time tonight revising mechanics 2.... the effect of learning an entire module in 2 after school lessons a week that were frequently canceled is starting to hit. Ahaha.

If I were to post a thread asking for help with maths, I would welcome jokes (as well as actual help of course). In fact I could get stuk on my revision at any minute, so keep your eyes peeled!

Some kid not old enough to buy a packet of cigarettes?
Oh no he must be really scary, I bet he's like 7 foot and built like a brick house.

Seriously, when did people become scared of children? It's no wonder they don't have any respect any more.

I'm with you here. How can a knife be dangerous with a young child? Silly people!

But you drink a litre of spirits a week so I bet you're 'ard.

 I have never come across this "poission distribution", must not be anything to do with my uni course? Not everyone feels the need to study maths at a high level. Im sure I have the intellectual capacity to learn about it if I were to study maths further.

This is GD. Grow some thicker skin
