Never had a amd system, but it looks ok.

Think i would change the gpu to a GTX 460.

If your using stock cooling, you should get a bit of an overclock, but keep a close eye on the temps.

I would say always change the cooler. AC freezer pro. Cheap and easy to fit. Try for a small overclock to about 3.4GHz I havent got one. So any more advice I would like to know too. Thanks

Ok thanks for this, i've got to stick with the 5770 atm, but will eventually look to update that along with my PSU, ill probably get a new cooler in a few weeks.

I had a athlon 630 stock @ 2.8ghz...

Got it to 3.1ghz off the stock cooler without temp problems.

Couldn't get it any higher not due to high temps but because the multiplier was locked!

Was a balance between what the ram could handle with an increased FSB and the right multiplier, was difficult!

Even if you have to downgrade your parts, get a high quality branded psu. There is no budgeting for all that if you are going to cheap on what makes it all work. Seriously- but the best psu you can get.
