SandForce based drives only really show the full speed with the ATTO benchmark.

That's the benchmark OCZ use when they quote the maximum speeds.

Hi Surveyor

Thanks for the info on that.

Here is a screenshot from an ATTO bench

Are these speeds what i should be getting in raid 0 ?

Many thanks in advance

For a single drive maximum read 285MB/s, maximum write 275MB/s.

In theory you could get double those speeds but it usually doesn't work out so perfectly.

It's a SATA 2 drive but have you tried them connected to the Intel SATA 3 ports on the motherboard (the white ones)?

Ok one of the leads was a little loose but they were plugged into the white slots on the mobo and this is the new result

Im guessing these are more or less around what i should be hitting for raid 0 ?

The benchmark has improved around 10%.

Around 520-525MB/s read and write which is not far off double the theoretical maximums of a single drive.

I'd say that's about right.
