Help with Spec

Big mistake with the cables...I should have got the Antec 1200. I didn't realise thid thing was so compact and not enough space.

Yes the corsair pump is connected to a three pin connector on the motherboard.
The ATX 12V connection is next to the fan connector on the board. I connected that too and it is behind the push & pull fans.

The cables are in the way. The motherboard power connector is side to side with the optical drives next to the RAM modules. I do apologise for the poor quality of the picture taken this morning on my mobile.

Both motherboard and 12V ATX connection were secure. I forget to mention that when I switched the power on the Corsair supply on, all the lights on the motherboard lit up and the fans were all fine. However I did not get any image on the monitor when I switch the computer on. I am using a Dell 19" Ultra sharp.

I have phone the supplier and they have told me to return the Power supply through an RMA as you suggested.

Thanks

The supplier agreed to pick up the whole PC up tomorrow and have an inspection in case I have wrongly connected something up hence the smoke. I have a 250 w power supply from another machine. Will that be sufficient? I can try that tonight.

Ok, I will try the 4 pin Molex+ cable. As for putting the radiator fan on the CPU_fan header, I think I have done this already, but I will double check when i get home.

Any idea why the screen didn't come on?

If you look at the pictures you'll see there is a TV card in between the Graphics card and the PSU and that's exactly wher the smoke was coming out of.

Ok...some good news and some bad.

The good news is I disconnected everything and started from scratch. I did not put the TV card in. No burning smell and no smoke! Hourray....

The bad news is when I switch the PC on there is no response from the motherboard, no beep sound and no picture on the screen!

As usual any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think it is the PSU now.PSU worked fine last night, no smell of burning at all.I wonder whether it is the motherboard. As I mentioned earlier on, no beeping sound from keyboard and no picture at all on the screen.

Thank you very much. I have added a few more photos to the link above when I was testing evey component last night. I'm not too sure if it helps but please have a look.

Should the trible kit RAM modules be in the white slot or the blue ones? I inserted them in the blue ones as seen in the manual but I have just read that online that they are supposed to go inthe white ones. Grateful if someone could confirm. Thanks
