anyone know what sort of usage the drive has? programs like ssdlife pro and other say drive is at 100% health but i dont see any sort of info that shows how much writes its had.
above info was the most complete smart info i got from HD Sentinel.

Think iv answered my own question here. That smart value 173 wear leveling count is the main one for drive pe cycles:

Code:
SMART Attributes Data Structure revision number: 16
Vendor Specific SMART Attributes with Thresholds:
ID# ATTRIBUTE_NAME FLAG VALUE WORST THRESH TYPE UPDATED WHEN_FAILED RAW_VALUE
  1 Raw_Read_Error_Rate 0x002f 100 100 050 Pre-fail Always - 0
  5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0033 100 100 010 Pre-fail Always - 0
  9 Power_On_Hours 0x0032 100 100 001 Old_age Always - 24269
 12 Power_Cycle_Count 0x0032 100 100 001 Old_age Always - 128
170 Grown_Failing_Block_Ct 0x0033 100 100 010 Pre-fail Always - 0
171 Program_Fail_Count 0x0032 100 100 001 Old_age Always - 0
172 Erase_Fail_Count 0x0032 100 100 001 Old_age Always - 71
173 Wear_Leveling_Count 0x0033 007 007 010 Pre-fail Always FAILING_NOW 2792

On that one above pe cycles approach nand limit of 3000 so got flagged up.
So my drive in the op being at 12 pe cycles does show it to be fairly new.
