Another option - if the metal is soft enought to have been stripped, then it *might* be soft enough to hammer in a torx bit of the next size up...

Also, most automotive shops will sell special particulate grease to help 'grip' nuts and bolts. Kinda like WD40 (I assume you've tried that already?)
