With the client window selected, just press Ctrl-C. That will close it properly but give it a few minutes before you shut down afterwards to close the threads and save any data.Soz for the hijack, quick question regarding shutting down F@H, how is the best way to do this, as i dont seem to have a problem just clicking the cross in the corner of the client (using Windows SMP). Though recently when closing them and reopening the programs, it comes back with an error and so has to restart, after deleting the WU.
One WinSMD client appears to use 100% but can't be really as it only gives two thirds the PPD of two clients. The CPU temps go up with two clients as well.I'm giving the WinSMP clients another go.
Can someone tell me what is the point of running two WinSMP clients on a quad-core when one client runs at 100% across all 4 cores![]()
Well that didn't last long. Two hours in and was averaging ~4000ppd.
Back to the olde linuxSMP I go.

well I have given up on SMP clients... given that one of my Quads has been recieving 3906 and 3907 all day from the new beta client thing and is running atm at around 10481.67 PPD![]()
yup been having a look, FahMon calculates PPD on them being 50 Frame Units are infact 100 Frame Units so that 10K is infact 5K PPD which is still more than I get using 2 WIN SMP
