Think max size is 2TB (some one correct me).

Dont think you can hot swap... you are in server territory there.

Yes you can HotSwap SATA drives if the Controller supports it (all these days will).

Yup, maximum size of the physical volume is 2Tb on XP32. You can go larger with Vista, XP64 or the MS Server OSes.

EDIT: While you can use > 2Tb volumes on Vista etc the boot volume has to be less than 2Tb due to BIOS restrictions.

which sata controller do you have? some can't, some can (it'll have a 'safely remove hardware' icon in taskbar if you can
