HELP!

Are you pressing the correct button, to enter the bios?

As to me it sounds like you are not entering the bios. And as stated above, you will not be allowed to install the 64bit version, unless you have a 64bit cpu. Unless you have overridden it.

If you don't have a x64 compatible processor it won't let you install the x64 version.

I'll go ahead and confirm this as it gave me this message on my dell latitude d600. I then proceeded to download a 32 bit version, on my desktop, then used win7 on it to burn the iso. I then put it in my laptop, and instead of going into bios, I just f12'ed it to get the boot menu options during the start up screen, and booted from cd/dvd drive and there you have it OP.

Well you need to change your initial boot, to your dvd drive. Then when it says press any key to boot from cd/dvd, press the ANY key <-- vital part.
