Dear All,

I left my computer on last night to finish a download (Vindictus). Before I left I set the power options to hibernate after two hours.

When I woke up my computer was resetting its self constantly (hopefully not for long, but it could have been for 8 - 9 hours!!!).

I checked the reset switch.... its not the problem + the mother board reset switch jumper is in the correct place.

Next I removed the Bios Battery and placed it back in after a minute... no result.

Next I removed the GPU, thinking the power supply could be overloaded (750 Watt Bronze Plus). It didn't work.

I would really appreciate some help.... I'm at a loss as to what to do.

Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB

Hi I had this EXACT problem last week with mine, after speaking with ocuk basically it goes into sleep and won't come back on properly try removing the battery for around 3-5mins and try. worked for me (i have the same board and cpu) I recommend turning sleep off once your back up and running. The guy i spoke to at ocuk said basically with a Sandybridge cpu and a Gigabyte board they don't like going into sleep.

Also make sure to unplug it from the power socket.

Sorry.... didn't work. I just came back to it and the same again

Randomly started to work... It was attempting to boot using the cached windows session (from hibernation) that most have been in the SSD....

Never turn on Hibernate!!!

Just loaded windows....

At 3 AM last night the system entered hibernation in the middle of a windows update!!!

I performed a system restore to before the update. Everything is fine now!!!
