I've seen two different bios versions. one says F7 and the other says FC, which one do I need?

Wasnt even out when I bought the board! I checked the board to see if it was compatible with the i7 3770k and it was....turns out its not 100% true!

Just been to the shop and bought an intel celeron G530. Stuck it in and I am now in the process of installing Windows!!!!!!!!!!!

Can someone tell me how to update the bios please?

New problem!! Can't see my storage drive so I put the bios update on a USB stick but when I choose update from drive it says no drives found! How can I make it see the HDD? When I installed windows it asked if I wanted to install it on the HDD or SSD so it obviously knows it's there!

When I changed it to AHCI windows failed to start until I changed it back to IDE!

Never mind, managed to figure it out. Just needed to allocate the volume and format it!! Still can't see the driver when I go to update the bios though!!!!!

I did format the USB drive to FAT32 but it still couldnt see it!! I need to check something that might fix it but im in work till 23:00 so I'll let u know tomoro if it works or not!!!

I've done it....I think!!! The reason it couldn't see the USB drive was because I hadn't enabled the USB legacy and USB storage function in the BIOS. So I've gone through the update process.......it seemed too easy!!! I haven't put the i7 back in yet but eveything is still working. How do I check to see if it has been updated?

Just put the i7 back in.........and it works

although it still makes 2 short beeps when I turn it on!!!
