IF this is true, then it is fantastic news. Henry IS the best player in the world to my mind anyway and to have him at the club makes Arsenal twice the club they would be without him.

I actually sort of wanted him to go....somebody else needs the captain's armband. I think Henry is a fantastic player but not a leader. He was far too quiet on wed night

i don't care if hes the worlds best or not. im just happy he'll be staying in the premiership, where he belongs

He's not a great captain, but he has improved his leadership skills as the season has progressed. I didn't think he was quiet on Wednesday night. And as for saying you wanted him to leave :rolleyes:

Too many world class players turned their nose up at the premiership in the past (apart from when they fancy a big pay day at Chelsea

The only thing I was possibly looking forward to was that it would mean someone new coming in, but whoever it was they wouldnt have been as good as Henry anyway.
