Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme :)

Perhaps I'm showing my age with that joke. Although it's originally medieval and I'm not that old.

Surely it depends on what you're having it with? For example, I like some mint with lamb, but I doubt if it would go well with fish and chips.

Can I count beer as a herb? It's made from plants and it's a perfect ingredient for cooking beef. The best perk of my job might be the beef and guinness stew at cost price.
 
Why do bay leaves cost so much?


We've got a plant outside and it's a ****ing full sized hedge bigger than i am :/


There's got to be a few kg's worth of leaves and it takes no effort at all to grow.
 
Difficult one, I can't think of any I don't like. I do love basil though and tend to pick at the plant and eat the leaves on their own a lot. :D
