dlss is nice thoughRTX is a white elephant developers are even dropping it & going back to pre-baked shadows! If anyone buys an RTX just for RTX enhanced games they are seriously deluding themselves as not a single game looks noticeably night & day better than a game with pre-baked shadows & HDR!
dlss is nice though
DLSS is AI deep Learning should be made free to all GPUs though not just RTX!dlss is nice though

it will be RDNA 3 till AMD can offer something to compete on the DLSS and ray tracing front.
RTX & DLSS are ONLY exclusive to Nvidia to justify the silly prices people keep paying! Neither would be required if developers stick to pre-rendered pre-baked shadows if they all did that any GPU from the last 4 years with 8GB VRam is all you need even for 4K as the game engines are quite primitive graphically nowadaysProblem is only nvidia have the hardware to make use of it.
Amd keep saying they are working on it but none of their cards have the hardware for it and I can't see them matching dlss 2.0 on nvidia cards no matter how much they work on software/drivers.... Ultimately, it will be RDNA 3 till AMD can offer something to compete on the DLSS and ray tracing front.
You're telling me a 5 year old game runs flawlessly on 5 year old hardware. I'm stunnedBatman Arkham Knight on PC @ 4K max everything runs flawlessly on a 4-5 year old GPU for instance
Yup I don't disagree on the RTX/ray tracing front, unless the in game engine reflections have been downgraded to make RTX/ray tracing stand out more i.e. cyberpunkRTX & DLSS are ONLY exclusive to Nvidia to justify the silly prices people keep paying! PC gamers are effectively paying for RTX & DLSS yet not a single game looks noticeably better with it

TBF, it is still one of the best looking games imo. The lighting and reflections are stunning and make cyberpunks standard/non-rtx reflections etc. look rather poor given the performance difference and the age gapYou're telling me a 5 year old game runs flawlessly on 5 year old hardware. I'm stunned
I took the £1 sub to XBOX but I read Wolfenstein YoungBlood on there is not patched for RTX yet (if ever).
Minecraft's implementation is terrible
DLSS and RTX will only go the same way as every other single piece of nvidia tech. i.e. dead.
As it is now though DLSS is nice for games like cyberpunk where you need all the perf. you can get!
Yeah maybe I should have worded my post better.DLSS won't go away, it will evolve. As games require more power, a card that might start to struggle at 4k, rather than take a dip in visible image quality you can take advantage of DLSS and have a smooth experience again. Some will happen at 8k, DLSS is needed to make a game playable, then when 8k is the norm they'll do it for 16k.
