Observable behaviour and responses to situations and questions. A bit like your responses and behaviour in this thread.

That is a reasonable and valid way to determine someone's intelligence within the limited environment that is OCuk.

I did an IQ test online and got 114. But then I did another and got 135, and another and got 168 -- as I worked out what the questions were getting at. So I don't trust those either and reckon that 'MENSA' just bigs up vain people to try and get them to join .. any muppet could get through them as well with a little practice, as I did, and you could, again just practice.... I reckon deep down I'm probably about average.

I passed all the intelligence needed to be an RAF pilot (but failed the leadership stuff).. guess that's something. Can play the piano well, but YET AGAIN any trained monkey could play the piano if they work hard at it, I've never met anyone who I seriously think it would be beyond them. I could teach you to play the hardest piece there is on the piano in 4 months full time I reckon. It's not clever.

Nahhh that cannot be true, i rake in 6 figures at work and write MENSA tests at the weekend id know if someone was lying to me!

In fact it must be true, i heard myself mention i was on a 6 figure job and all my brain blood rushed to my lower brain and left me light headed, surely this would not happen if i was below average....please.... tell me it wouldnt!

Just maybe an intelligent man would realise that *** for tat insults have little or nothing to do with the thread and would refrain from continuing and either post something constructive that adds to the discussion or would simply not post at all.

I find the crosswords in the broadsheets blimin' impossible. And 'university challenge' I never know the answers to ANY of the questions .. and I can't work out '213 * 8' in my head. maybe I am a thicko now I think of it...
