I know I'm no expert but this game is like World of tanks all over again. No matter how well you do the matchmaking does it's best to @&$# you over!!!
Every game is the same, the enemy team roll as a unit completing objectives and I get lumbered with four who just want to explore the map!!
Worse thing is I really enjoy the game but it's getting tedious losing 80% of games.
What heroes do you usually play? What level are you?
I'm sorry to say but I've found out that people who such low winrate usually just have no clue whatsoever (ranked 40-50 after 100+ games where you get 200pts for win and lose only 40-50 but they still can't rank up).
Could also be that you're trying to help your bad team mates too much and therefore start doing mistakes and silly plays by yourself. This is a very common mistake for new MOBA players and sometimes it's better to try and win the game by yourself and forget that you even have a team if the team is very bad, which can mostly be seen within the first 3-5minutes of the game.
The only thing I suggest is learn how to play very well 2-3 very strong heroes that can make a massive difference and can win the games alone.
Heavy pushing heroes are especially effective at low ranks (or unranked) as most players don't pay attention to the map and can't split properly.
For example, a good zaggara or azmodan, can force the enemy team to send at least 2ppl to run through entire map and defend if you push very hard.
Even if you die, by the time they will get to you, you'd have destroyed at least turrets or even fort and forcing enemy team to waste 1 minute on you is success in it's own and prevents enemy from just steamrolling your team as 5 or prevents them from doing other objectives.
And if they decide to ignore you, which did happen to me many times, they might get surprised that the game suddenly ended as you destroy their base while they tunnel vision the objectives so much that they didn't notice that they've got 0 base left.
Obviously, most of the time you'll have to ignore your team completely and you'll receive a lot of hate on chat for that but if that's what you need to win then I don't see any problem with it myself.
Once you get under rank 30 (¬100 games on at least 50% winrate required) you'll be more often matched with people who actually have a clue of how to play the game and then you can start trying to play with the team more often.
I mainly just play Nova and Abathur (if Nova taken or if I have to counter heavy pusher on enemy team) and my winrate hangs around 60-70% in solo ranked.
Feel free to add me @ PhoenixUK#2160 for any tips or maybe I can have a look at one or two of your replay games and give you some advice
