I was hoping it was more like a soft reboot of the game like when Dota 2 or LoL did when they came out of beta.

Calling it 2.0 also gives the impression that some huge changes have happened, all that really happened is a new leveling system and loot crates.
 
Yep, quick match with allied chat turned off and I love it :) not interested in ranking or hearing what anybody in the toxic community has to say in chat.
 
As ocuk channel is mostly dead, is anyone in any 'clans' for this, i.e. Any other chat channels to join to help find people for games? Fell into a good group last night after a QM and we went on a 5 game winning streak. This reminded me the game is much more fun even with "random friends" as it builds a better team spirit I think.
 
I'm a pretty decent player, really fed up of hero league, nearly every game has at least 1 person either giving up, "gg" as soon as someone dies once or spends more time calling everyone on the team "autists" rather than actually playing.

Any groups going I can join?
 
LewisRaz#2778 Gold 3 in TL (but the other 2 of the trio got silver 2... Trying for plat in HL.. Been placed with diamonds so am hopeful.

My HL rank is totally tanked - I started on it before I had a clue what I was doing and got stuck in Bronze. Currently avoiding it and playing QM only for a couple of seasons to try and reset my MMR a bit. I flit between Gold and Plat in QM (according to Hotslogs!)

Sorry I havnt been able to play with anyone yet. Our OW crew have been filling up all the free spots. Cant wait for this event to be over :)

No problem. Played some games with Stu (Ufon) last night with mixed success due to QM random team comps! Also sent friend request to v4ntom
 
Got my 2 skins and now regretting I didn't start early to complete all 4 challenges!

Had fun and will come back for more. Big thanks to BrotherDave for playing the first few games with me, 2 noobs together; and to [YG]Bug-Eyed for being very tolerant with me for the matches last night - we finished on a good win! As recommended, I've been reading the guides on Icy Veins and I have an understanding of proper talent building now, so hopefully I won't be so terrible next time. Ready for the Overwatch Anniversary challenge next...
 
Wish I had not forgotten about this until the last day - Spotted it but just one of those things that I said I would get to as I had plenty time - RIP :D

You did fine Stu. Best tip I learnt (far too late) is just try to stay alive, as once death timers get too long it can easily turn into a gg with a mistake wipe
 
Anyone actively working through the 'Malthael's Bargain' challenge? I'll be keeping an eye out for friendly team mates over the next few days :)
