Heroes, season finale. ***SPOILERS***

Check out the graphic novels btw. THey're still going even though the shows not on. They've introduced a bit of back story to another character...

Not too sure what good a bullet to Peter's head would have been either

If he knew he was going to explode in the city, he could have simply left the city.

Same way the piece of glass kept him 'dead', same for the lump of wood(IIRC) for the cheerleader.

He didn't leave the city as they were sure it was Sylar who was going to explode, not Peter.

Did his powers also stop him using the bus?

Sci Fi doesn't have to make perfect sense I know but there were holes in the finale bigger than............erm a really large thing  :D

*Suddenly, after the defeat of the criminal mastermind Peter notices his hands glowing.
The nuclear fusion inside him is growing and at an alarming rate.
If he doesn't leave the area now he will explode, he will destroy the city and the countless millions of innocent bystanders - what can our hero do?*

S'ok, the Number 6 to Barnstable has just pulled in on the other side of the road which will wisk him away from the city at 40mph.
If only he could get his "Correct change only" out of his pocket without it melting each time.

He knew he was going to go pop ages in advance, ages multipied by 40mph is quite far, give or take a few miles.

That makes more sense although I don't recall them thinking that.

Managed to watch the finale last night, thanks to sky+:p...cant say i was that impressed with the finale. Funny thing is that at the start i was loving but nearing the end, i found it got more and more tedious tbh. But still is a great series, cant wait for the 2nd series to begin as the first series for me, left too many openings.

Really wanted that barsteward Sylar to die, or for someone to give him his comeuppance.

Wathed it last night & have to say I was left totally underwhelmed...I really didnt want Peter to die, so many other characters that could have gone instead like D L & Nikki.

The fight with Sylar was boring & was over far too quickly, I was expecting some huge battle involving all the Heroes but nope we got a bit of posturing then Hiro doing his bit & fight over :(

Also why did Sylar have to get away?
One season of him is deffinitley more than enough...especially now Peter has gone who else is going to have the power to stop him??

I honestly dont know if I'll bother with series 2 now, It was a very good series but I just dont think I can go through another one.

All in all a massive let down to me :(

Fantastic series about to be aired on BBC3 for those who dont have digital mean.

Peter was too weak to fly himself out of there, and who says anything about them being dead ;)

Hiro can bend time remember!

Peter almost certainly didn't die. Ted survived when he started going off in the Bennets house and hes used his powers a lot and not died. It would be pretty crap to have a power that killed you, wouldn't it?

As for fallout and such, hes not a nuclear bomb. If he went off it would have just be like a regular bomb but with the force a nuclear explosion.

Hiro can bend time remember!

I take your point but in that case I suspect that it could all just get VERY silly with constant Time travel & time Bending/past altering being the main point of the series.

Peter didn't die.

In the episode where Hiro and Ando are 5 Years in the future we find out that it was Peter that had exploded 5 years ago but he was still alive in the future thus proving he can survive going Nuclear.

Good Episode. Surprised nobody has picked on what the little girl said who tracks people. She talks about the new Badguy. The one that can see her when she finds them and was to scared to try. As she didnt mean sylar as she could find him and wasnt scared.

And Peter isn't dead.

she also said that he was already there (just before getting into the lift?) but didnt say who.

- he would not have had time to learn how to use them effectively (unlike sylar who can use them immediately it seems)
Sylars power is that he can see how things work, therefore he would have the ability to understand how the powers work if he has them, which is why he can use them immediately and perfectly.

Surely however that future no longer exists.

Why?

In the future Peter had a huge scar which i'm guessing was from exploding? I

Can't remember it too well so i'm going to watch the series again; not that i'm bothered because it's actually awesome.

Anyone know when it will be out on DVD, or is it already?
