Hoof to Crouch or just hoof to Rooney, it'll be a long time before the style of football in this country is corrected. There is so little appreciation for technical ability that you'd need almost a complete overhaul of opinion from Joe Bloggs on the street who would prefer to see a full blooded affair and the lions getting stuck in. Maybe one day, not expecting it in my lifetime though. This country has been behind in football terms for 50+ years, why change now?

Heskey retired from international football about 3 years ago but didn't tell anyone.

He was never a good international striker. It was too much of a step up for him. Now, maybe we'll see strikers working hard to take his place.
