Hey all.

Anyone else play this, after playing hearthstone for awhile and i saw this pop up on steam the other day i thought id give it a go. But its very confusing.

So far ive played the tutorial, tried the arena with a generic dwarf deck it auto made when i selected it from my cards menu and im losing badly. :( Dunno anything about how to build a deck in this game, how to play effectivly etc.

Too used to hearthstone and thats simple compared to this game.

Any advice would be welcome especially on what type of hero i should be and what is the best way to use a deck and which is the best one free given the cards i was given after i signed up for the game yesterday. I think dwarf or orc was mentioned on some utube vids so thats why i am trying dwarf atm. But either i never get enough resources compared to the ai or my minions are crap so when i attack they get slaughtered by the ai blocking me with his bigger amount of minions or somit.

I played it a while ago & found it ok, altho it seemed expensive

There is a thread but the title is shards of faith for some reason.

I am just downloading it on steam now to give it another go as it seems they have added a lot more to the game :)
Also the interview video with the creator makes it sound like there's no paywall (the guy says this but maybe not true?)

Here is a quote from when I played it a while ago (4th May 2015)
Is anyone playing this game?

I signed up and have been playing PVE just to try & learn the game.

It seems ok but when I looked into getting into draft mode it seems players need to provide 3 packs + 100plat which is 700plat (800plat = £4.99)
So it costs £4.36 to enter a draft mode tournament :( (I guess you get to keep the cards you pick, but it still seems a little expensive?)

Also constructed is 300 platinum (plus u need to have a competitive 60 card deck)

I may be missing something but it seems very hard to get into the game & also seems expensive

The things that drew me to it: trading within the game, more complexity than other online TCG's & I think I've seen adverts everywhere for it :)

I downloaded this and played it over the past week :D

They just released a new set of cards & it seems like there are a lot more players since the steam release.

After a week of PVE play I have ~$42 of cards (according to tcgbrowser site)
(Estimated value: 7,094p 244,689g)

From what I've read a basic beginner deck is around $30 & some of the top decks are hundreds of dollars :(

Getting money together is a bit of a grind but the PVE storyline does a good job of teaching fundamentals & gives you a chance to try different races & classes.

Seems like a good game if you're willing to put in some money as the amount of money you get from grinding arena or pve is not viable :( (PVE grinding works out around $0.80/hour)
