Seem to recall it being a no mention word back in the day, seem to equally remember some pretty anti OC/U.K. content on the forum which was probably why.

BTW, the forums on both websites will still exist.
Only when Spie was here. The founder of Hexus was a mod here(IIRC) and left this forum to start their own website. You have to remember the issues around why Spie stepped down himself.
Spie didn't step down from my experience, he expired, some difference....

He did move away from his involvement with the forums before the Caseking sale. But to be diplomatic the issues back then were partly the reason there was bad blood between the two websites,which was compounded by the fact one of the OcUK competitors also partially sponsored the Hexus forum.
Then he sold the website and forum to Caseking in 2012 and Hexus could be mentioned here.Spie passed away in 2018.

New generations hit up Youtube for everything. My kids don't like to "read" websites, it has to be in catchy videos of 3mins or less.

Reading is the most relaxing thing at night. Sometimes Youtube can be good but I find most times going, oh for god sake shut up. It's always dramatics on Youtube most of the time for technology.
Also people yelling for chapter timelines on Youtube. Or they don't watch it.
I used to be a member of those Forums years ago. Didn't post much there though. I didn't leave, I just changed my email address & forgot my password which locked me out. I did send the mods a request to ask for a reset link on my current email address, but I never got a reply. I gave up in the end.
Got to be honest, I'm just not feeling the site design on there. Not even sure why but it doesn't really make me want to go back and check it out daily etc, something I used to do with hexus.
