Hey and could someone help me with this...

Dude here's a thought. Have you tried getting an old machine, taking it apart and then put it back together? That way if you break it, its an old machine and doesn't really matter.

Did think of that...Couldn't really find an old machine on [Competition] though :(

Secondly, I know this is a OcUK forum...But is tehre anyway, you could find me the components on ******, which are sold by ****** and not third parties. Reason I'm asking, is because I've got spare ****** Vouchers, which I need to get rid of..

Against the forum rules mate.

Nps but a quick point why spend money on two computers when you could pool it together to make a better one. Its really not as bad as it appears, very logical and if you have any problems just post. :)

People will either tell you the part name or just link to it on OcUK. It is up to you where you eventually buy your stuff. Just don't tell us :p

My mother told me to build two. Or she'll physically damage me and won't fund the other one lol..

Its a waste of money in my opinion as chances are the parts you use for the first one will be of a different format (i.e. pin number cpu) to what you really want to build. Yes I understand you will gain some experience from the rough layout but no more than stripping down and rebuilding a pc would gain you.

Shall I just look for a really basic PC, buy it, take it apart and then re-build it then ?

Ahhh, the old "Yes, get two" comment.
That's usually them having a laugh, like:

You: "I want a £2k Macbook from Christmas".
Mum: "Yeah.... let's get two".

(If still unsure ask SiriusB what he will let you do)

That's a brand new, pre-build PC from [competitor] which I'm going to take apart...

This didn't turn into a welcome thread :(
