HID Kits

Those pictures suggest you dipped beam is now of a length equal to main beam, surely that's not what you expect from regular alignement?

I've just emailed him to see what his delivery charge to the UK is, as it doesn't seem to be listed on the page.
The items are in Birmingham, but he doesn't mention shipping to here.

Charges the same regardless iirc, that bloke with the black saxo bought from him and paid around £90 all in, arrived next day too.

As he only put them in tonight, I doubt they've been properly aligned yet.

6000K the best ones to go for, that gives close to daylight sort of light if i remember with a slight tint?
IIRC the 6000K are the brightest

They fit in the standard bulb holders so i didn't think any alignment was required, its just like changing a stock bulb.

I thought you were meant to check alignment every time you changed a bulb?

I went out for a bit of a spirited drive tonight on the roads around Castle Combe. It was chucking it down and dark and I've decided that I *definitely* need some HIDs as the Elise seems to have candles instead of headlights :(

What does HID stand for? High Intensity something?

Are they just super-bright lights?

I have heard of them but never really took note of what they are?

How do they differ from Xenons? Or is that the type of gas in a particular bulb?

Discharge I think. Xenons are another word for the same thing, thats the name of the gas inside.

Xenons are HID. :)

All of that ebay blokes kits have vanished, and he had hundreds last night. Fishy perhaps?

Looks good but i love this line :

'genuinely Made in KOREA' - As aposed to the bad quality you would get it if was made in i dunno Botswana? :p

Hehe, I was just LOLing about it myself. "Made in Korea" - not like one of those cheapo counterfits from.. er... you know.. far east.
