hehe i was playing this for the first time last night its great fun although i only played the hidden team once and die quite quick :(

how do you say stuff to people?

I love this mod but the shotgun and the pistols seem buggy to me, I don't see the reload animations. I am crap at playing IRIS I don't understand how people can see the hidden, is there some sort of thermal imaging that I am missing?
 
awesome game thats coming along nicely. Managed to get a few of us playing on an ammobox server last night whilst on vent and was extremely funny. One person starts firing... everyone shoots! :D The sonic alarms are a cool addition as well as being able to cling to walls etc as the hidden :)

Few bugs still, but its getting there.

It looks a bit like the chameleon outfit in Predator. Funny when people try and shoot the proverbial out of some rising steam vent that looks exactley like The Hidden. Empty a full clip into it and it still doesnt bleed :D

Server side patch was released the other day

There's a server side patch for Beta 3:

This patch contains the following changes:

- The Headless IRIS issue is no more ( we added a pumpkin ... just kidding )
- No Hidden with random select on is fixed
- Random select is much more fair
- This is the biggie - Mass timeout / mass client crash should no longer happen (there appear to be other bugs that will crash the client - this does not solve all client crashes - however, neither I nor the other server admins testing the patch have seen mass timeouts after applying the patch - there have been timeouts, but not en-masse)

There may be a couple of other minor things that I'm forgetting.

i love it lol, its a great little mod. Would love to have a game with you all sometime. I also suck at being the hidden... I spot someone, jump from the ceiling im hanging off, go for the stab and BLAM.... shotgunned lol
 
Oof. I'm definitely going to have to try this - cheers for pointing it out to me on the forums Vader :p

As was said, looks very AvP-like...which is a good thing as that game rocked.
