Highlight of your life this year?

Nothing good this year has happened so far! But seeing Paul Potts win Britain's got Talent and get cd sales world wide does make me smile as we were good friends for years at school. BRISTOL'S GOT TALENT!! It's nice to see someone you know make it to the top who really deserves it. Me personally I can't sing for ****. :D

Ive a had a few highlights this year.

Visiting Japan, graduating with a 1st, and then getting a job in London which i love.

Hopefully next year is just as good! *touch wood*

Starting to work for OcUK,
Because of that got my own place now,
Because of that have a decent reliable car.

Best. Year. Ever.

Splitting with my ex, hence getting rid of a financial black hole.
Since then met someone fantastic who is oodles better :)

Mini booze holiday in Bruges with my best mate was a highlight too... what I can remember of it!

Going on 9 day bender in Hong Kong followed by Leeds Festival was the highlight for me in an otherwise bland and unfulfilling year.
"next year will bring new and better things" Been saying that to myself for four years (five years next weekend)
:(

The best moment this year for me was checking UCAS at 7AM in the morning, straight after a 12 hour night shift, to find I'd been accepted at Warwick. I'd been really doubting whether I'd done well enough to get the grades needed, and having all that weight lifted off your shoulders at one point was such an amazing feeling.

Life just seems to be SO much better now that before, and I've got a totally different and slightly more optimistic outlook on life than I did back in college.. and in Stoke.

Strangely similar to mine. Checking UCAS track at 6 ish in the morning after an all night LAN to find I've been accepted into Warwick. Well, that and the ten weeks that followed at Warwick.

i have a few

learning to beatmatch
building a collection of about 20,000 filthy electronic tunes
getting out of my damp rat infested student digs which made me ill
going travelling on my own for a few months
going back into uni
getting laid a lot
cutting down the late night/early morning ketamine fueled party scene

Glad to hear you've had a good first term - what halls are you staying in, and what course are you doing?

has been an awesome year for me, great job, earning v good money, have a longer term plan that makes me excited for the future and best of all I have found a gorgeous girl who I love and we've just decided to start a family :)

also went paragliding which will now be a life long hobby

Moving into a house with my uni friends - finding somewhere where I feel at home.

Five days spent with a certain girl, which sadly haven't been repeated.

As I said in the other thread, becoming a Don. It should be getting in to university really, but this means more to me really.

I can't work out whether that's sad or not :o

Buying my first house, 11 wonderful months with my boyfriend, realising that I loved and was flying much higher in my career than I ever thought was possible.

Woo, just thought of some more :) I've had a good year.

Driving round Silverstone circuit in my own car at Silverstone Classic.
Watching my boyfriend drive my car in a sprint at Mallory.
Seeing Michael Schumacher at the Race of Champions at Wembley.
