**HIS 7850 ICEQ X PRE-ORDER DEAL!**

2 x HIS 7850 = £369.98

1 x 680GTX = £419.98

Difference is £50, but I think the 2 x 7850 would wipe the floor with a single 680. Overclocked the 7850s all do at least 1150Mhz which is 1380 in heaven for a single card solution. Depending on how well the 7800 series scale in crossfire I think they would be significantly quicker.

If someone can tell me otherwise I'd appreciate it as I'm also wondering what to get. Running 3 x 1080p in eyefinity (or at least that's the plan)

it would be cheaper to buy a single 7970? one card=less hassle

ten to five....hope almost completley gone of playing with it this weekend (unless they do Saturday delivery with the next day option?!)

I'm seriously considering switching my current order from the MSI Twin Frozr IV @ £220 to this, but only if the cooling is going to be good enough when overclocked. The single fan design concerns me. Anyone know exactly what makes their single-fan cooler so supposedly good?

MSI Twin Frozr IV

Dust Removal Fan Technology for Optimal Cooling

The MSI R7850 Power Edition 2GD5/OC graphics card features the latest Twin Frozr IV cooling design. Cooling performance is greatly improved by the large-area nickel-plated copper base and Propeller Blade dual 8cm fans. Dust Removal technology runs the fans in reverse for 30 seconds after every boot to remove dust from the heat sink to maintain optimal cooling of the graphics card.

HIS 7850 IceQ X

Thanks to the 9.2cm silent fan, massive amount of cool air is drawn from the central fan to cool down the GPU and graphics card directly. 4 heatpipes optimize cooling performance by removing heat from the core area, providing ultimate solution for professional gamers and HTCP users

This puts me at receiving my order on the 14th earliest, ah man.

Just had a look and only close price alternative I would buy is the sapphire but I have read bad things about RMA times. argh.

I'm sure OcUK now handle Sapphire's rma's.

Read what Surveyor posted here :

Hmm I see. Presumably though they will still just try and get the RMA done for me, so will still be 3 to 4 weeks won't it?

Where as for the HIS it says 3 to 4 days.

I just don't want to be up "poo" creek without a paddle if it stops working. Hopefully some OCUK staff will have a look in here.

EDIT:
OcUK also handles XFX warranty for 2yrs as well, so 3-5 days. :)

Just seen that, think i'll go for the sapphire then, means calling them tomorrow when I am in training all day though, hmm.
