Does anyone have any views on the HIS ICEQ SILENT range?
Bar the fact they look awesome, are they worth the extra?

Exsomnis said:If they're the same price then get the ICE-Q one and fit a VF900-CU on it if you're not happy with it. The stock cooler on the XTX will be a bit hot and loud in comparison, and you might end up replacing it anyway.

Exsomnis said:If you're not happy with custom coolers then go with the ICEQ to be on the safe side because there is a chance you will be unhappy with the stock cooler on the other. It's down to preference and existing air-flow in the case, in some systems and to some people it sounds a hell of a lot louder than in other systems to other people.
If you get the ICEQ you're basically getting the quietest X1900 out guaranteed. The extra "X" in "XT-X" means "X-tra cost" and nothing more.
