Life just keeps getting better

Was at a friends house, parked up on the side of the road along with everyone else

and one of his neighbours reversed out of his drive into me

got a nice big dent on my door and wing (O/S)

he's admitted fault, although it would be kind of hard not to. Atleast he was kind enough to come and find me

Now i have two insurance claims going, both of which could write off my car.

whats the situation with this? could i get 2 seperate pay outs?

think my car is giving subtle hints :/

You wont get two payouts.. If your cars written off then I guess the other claim (at least as far as your car is concerned) will be dropped, and only kept open to deal with any 3rd parties.

ok, the solicitors have already been in contact with me about the second crash.

looks to be a pretty simple example. he admitted fault and some builders re surfacing my friends roof watched the whole thing happen!

so hopefully i'll get that sorted as it looks like its just been dinged slightly, paint seems ok

then i can move on to what will happen with the front of the car due to that moped. so far the owner is refusing to say who took it :confused:

no, they were acting on behalf of my insurance company whom i had already notified

my road serves only a small residential area, so i assume the rider must be very local. im still waiting to see a chav limping past
