Oh no im a big fan of the super stealthy only the target must die attitude :) However i think it was on the boat level in Blood Money where i couldnt get to the guy without being noticed, so raged and strangled everyone on the boat :D

Didn't you get a scart with your Xbox? It kept telling me my refresh rate was wrong, I had to put the scart lead in, change it, then put the HDMI cable back in.
 
I loved blood money. Recently bought it again after being one of the first xbox titles I played. God the controls are awful and I hope they update them. Very clunky, you realise how much better new releases are control wise.

On the last level I just slaughtered everyone, ran back to a corridor and shot them as they came through the doors.

That one is a bit tricky, here's how I did it:

Push the first gang member over the balcony and into the water, then creep round the side of the boat, climb the trellis, fiber wire the other gang member, then go into the kitchen, take the purser outfit, inject the cake with your lethal syringe, take it up to the top level, fiber wire the dude guarding the door, quickly drag him and throw him over the edge, another gang member comes round, follow him into the bathroom, kill him, take the cake inside and kill the captain with it, then there's another gang member on the second level of the boat, he goes into his room with a woman and then comes outside for a smoke or something. Follow him into his room and block the door from closing on you, this makes the woman walk outside and you can take the bloke out without anyone noticing.

Then go back to the kitchen, get your suit, go to the bottom level of the boat and escape. :cool:

You talking about Amendment XXV, or the "secret" ending level when the credits are rolling? :p

It's a long time since i finished it, the level that was in the whitehouse I think. Loads of security. I might have to have another run through if I can get used to the controls again.

Ah yeah I liked that mission. Managed to get a SA rating on it too! :D

I'll have to play through it again, the achievements are stupidly easy, but take ages to do.

I thought it was standard practise these days to make an annoucement about an announcement about something to be announced! :D

They've said Absolution is going to be more serious and darker than previous Hitman games. Just hope they don't stray too far away from Blood Money

Really getting into it now, Just done the level I used to hate with the Crow suits. Got everyone with 4 silent kills and got hitman ranking instead of SA :(

Done it in 11 mins as well, no idea why it didn't count. Still hate that level.

Controls are still clunky but it's an awesome game, roll on the next one.

After a while you get used to the controls but they're definitely dated! Need a revamp for the new game. I think after the Championship Playoff I'm gonna stick Hitman in and work on some of my ratings. :)

This thread has inspired me. :p
 
I've just spent an hour trying to get going on "you had better watch out". Trying to work out the best way to do it silently and I'm sucking.

Trying to find the best way to get a guards suit.

At the start run forward and get in the elevator. Then when you're on the party floor walk through the doors straight ahead of you, turn left, wait for the guard to go up the stairs and make sure nobody sees you then go into the kitchen, what you want to do is drug the guy dressed as santa, steal his outfit and hide him in the chest, also poison the sausage and take it with you. Then go to the bar and put the aphrodisiac in the drink, wait for the waiter to serve the drink to Chad Bingham Jr who is in the hot tub.

Once the drinks are served he will take off with a woman to a back room, follow him, then stand in the doorway until the woman leaves, he should stand in the bedroom, you can kill him however you like, just make sure the woman is gone and you're in the room with him, with the door shut. Then in the same area there are some concrete steps that go a long way down and to an outside smoking area where a lone guard comes to have a cigarette, nobody should be able to see you here so just wait for the guard to come and then knock him out, steal his outfit then take the elevator up to the top floor, go into the backroom and retrieve the evidence tape and also the CCTV tape if you need to.

Go into Lorne De Havilland's room, make sure you throw the sausage at his dog, the dog should eat it, just wait for him to die, then kill Havilland. Then simply walk back to the elevator, get the lift up to the helipad and escape. Or if you want to escape in your suit just retrace your steps to the kitchen, put the suit on, enter the elevator down to the boat and escape. Easy.

Cheers I got all the way to the bit with the guard on the concrete steps. I didn't think to get that one. I will have another try tomorrow :) I assumed the body would be found.

How the hell did you remember all that, haha. I can barely remember how I did this 4 or 5 years ago :(
