Hitman Movie - Agent 47

I think Timothy Olyphant is a good guy, he's great in the TV series Deadwood, and anyway, none of the acting is great in Die Hard 4, it's an action film, not The Godfather...

I think maybe he could be the saving grace of an otherwise doomed to be pants, resident evil-style film...
 
what about the Guy from that movie, where he takes an Adrenilin shot, and hes gets a mahoosive hard on while running down the street?

You know the one? Where he isnt allowed to let his heart rater drop below a certain level or he dies?

Crank or something?

It looks good to you because you've never played the games, if you had it would look crap.

Should have gotten David Bateson to play him, with less explosions and preferably gritty realistic violence.

Morgan Freeman and Anthony Hopkins are very good actors too, doesn't mean they should cast them as 47, Olyphant has all the facial features of 47 but doesn't look at all like him.

jason statham was considered to play the part however couldnt due to being filmed in crank because they were too similar a role. as for the hitman role being silent and sneaky, thats how it should be :p but playing the games you always have a "lets go mad moment" If you look in the trailor there are parts when he creeps in to the toilets to kill a guy and his bodyguard, so its not all guns blazing (shoot em up is a good film for over the top gun action)

I think people should wait until the film comes out before saying who should and shouldnt play agent 47, mayb this newbie actor will suprise us :)

i was thinking the same thing, Statham has been in crap films since Lock Stock & Snatch, he's dead to me now :o

there's no obvious choice for an actor for this role

I see no sex in the street in the trailer. :p
 
I'll definetly give it a watch but the lead is a good actor, hes in loads of brilliant films, dreamcatcher and die hard 4.0 for example, i'm looking forward to it
