I'm meeting the Queen tomorrow, which is nice.

Older family members are almost childishly excited and in awe.

I'm a fan of the Royal family, I think they're very much part of our culture and worth the 60 pence (or so) they cost each tax payer.

Would you be

a) Overly excited, once in a lifetime opportunity
b) Looking forward to the day
c) Not overly bothered

I think if you can get a picture of the queen holding an OCUK banner and you with a loaf of hovis you should get a MoH.

Also C, don't really care.

Nothing exciting I'm afraid - she's visiting the area tomorrow, and I've been invited to represent the Responders on the island and to meet her and Prince Philip

Pic of you with the queen slightly bent over looking in to the camera and pointing finger to the mouth like Dr Evil with hovis in background

10 years ago, probably a mix between a and b.

Now just b*

*she was suprisingly personable the first time I met her.

D) Not bothered at all, im not a fan of the Royal family and would be happy to see them go.

c)

Though I would be respectful, and obviously interested. However, it wouldn't really bother me much.

I don't *hate* the royal family, but I don't believe anyone is born in the world superior or more deserving than anyone else. It can't be easy being a young Monarch (I mean this towards William & Harry) as you don't have a choice of being born into the family. I'm very much a non royal - but I'd always respect the traditions and the behaviours one should follow.
