Hodgson names first squad

I'm not offended or anything by this "joke" but I really do wish people would leave him alone to get on with the job. I get the feeling he will be given problems from the press and "fans" whatever he does with the team.

It really is pathetic, people need to get a grip.
 
ah np most jokes are about people that have something like country of origin, name, color, race, sex, political views, football team, color of hair, disability, whatever whatever it may be that some one else finds amussing, pc has gone far to far. if you cant laugh at others misforune or others predicament , or just even others then its gonna be a boring boring life for some, good job we all find diferent things funny.

who really gives a damn if hodgson has a speech impediment so what. he prob a nice guy and all that but he still makes me laugh when he speaks hence the joke that im sure millions will find funny millions wont.

im not gonna lose anysleep over it. ive got a speech impediment im from devon..

will add also i hope he does do a good job for england god knows we need it

Without taking this off topic, why is it political correctness gone too far if you can't make jokes about, as you said, peoples colour, disability et cetra? Making fun of people, it's really not particularly clever or funny. Good jokes aren't made over people's skin colour, disabilities, or race or sex are they? It's really weak.

Edit, just want to get the 'Tummy has no sense of humour' 'Tummy is grumpy' comments done, so there.

most jokes are about what i said thats the way it is . cant think of much else to make jokes about in all honesty.

doesnt mean if u laugh at a joke about some you are a xxxist or xxxxist just means you can see a funny side in things..

damn some people on here would ban all the comedians at the appolo if they had there way..

lets face it it aint gonna happen live at the apollo is awesome
 
Alright, does someone else want to point out how wrong he is?

I honestly don't have the motivation or energy to do it (for once) remember not to use big words so craarc can understand it and also use poor grammar and spelling.
 
He is from Devon, you don't need to explain anything more than that. Too simple to understand anything more than pants jokes like this :D
 
He's sixty something, I'm pretty sure he is used to people taking the **** and as he is the manager of the ENglish national team I don't think he's let it bother him. Some people in this thread should lighten up.
