So far this year I've got a weekend in the 15th century in July at Tewkesbury, then a week in Norway Skien and Kristiansand seeing one of my favourite singers at a couple of gigs. I have a week free in September and November but nothing booked yet probably Port Isaac or Port Quin in November.

We've just booked a week away (9 nights actually) and we're closing the restaurant for it! We deserve it after a hard work summer!

we've booked a 4 night comedy cruise in August with P&O (unfortunately, it's the only cruise line out of Auckland this time of year), leaving Auckland and arriving in Brisbane, Australia on the Friday, then we've hired a car in Brisbane to go to the Gold Coast for 3 nights in a high floor studio right on the coast with views out to sea and the city. We'll be driving to Byron Bay and Currumbin nature park to see the lorikeets feeding from your hand, and koalas / kangaroos etc. Then we're staying one night in Brisbane before we fly back to Auckland with air New Zealand on one of their new A321NEO's and because we land at midnight, we're just staying at a hotel there for the night before driving home the next day.
So looking forward to it! Just under 10 weeks to go.

Me too but November. Off to Chiang Mai for 2 weeks.
Nice one.

We are going to Cape Panwa for two weeks.
We are also.. taking our son. Who will be the age of 12 months and 10 days old when we fly.

I can't wait to glare at all the people on the plane when they moan about his crying hahahahaha.

I have negotiated mother in law to come help look after her grandchild whom is 8 while I head for the skies. So no worry on that front. How long is your journey ? I am 16 hours out and 20 hours back 2 stopovers.

Well when I go...I gamble!!

In each of the groups I use their cards all the time when I do so they can track my play (mostly slots and I don't play crazy spin amounts say between $0.75 and $1.50 a spin).
I tend to visit and concentrate my play over days etc in the different groups on the strip and therefore they're happy to throw me some complimentary nights at their resorts.
To maximise things I'm also happy to move which means I can make the most of what's on offer during my stay to keep the cost down rather than stay for 2 weeks in the same place and pay the cash to do so.

Cosmopolitan = Identity Card
Planet Hollywood = Ceasers Rewards (Ceasers group of casinos)
Park MGM = M Life (MGM group of casinos)

If Glasgow had better options for flights I would not have to go BA :p But I suppose I can't complain as I used my avios for some money off.

Nice! I gamble a little for a few free drinks but the wife thinks i have won the lottery if i win $20. You use the myvegas app?

Nah, I used to but now just stick to my gambling when I'm over there. Was last there in March and my biggest win was $910 on a $0.75 bonus on the Walking Dead Slot. Honestly low rolling and high drinking is the way to go :D

I will take your advise and give it a go. I like the free buffets (mirage has beer and wine included haha). I have that many points on both our accounts i don,t need to play it anymore.

Jesus. 14 nights in Vegas. I go every year to be wined and dined on expenses and I can barely make it to day 6 without wanting to kill everyone! And that's generally with a good crowd that I'd consider friends, not naff corporate types!

Not going to lie 14 nights this time will be the last time I do this, I'll be sticking to multiple shorter trips throughout the year.

It's certainly the ultimate marathon of a trip to survive it for that long.
