Homeless!

I know this sounds daft but look into medical trials.. some can last weeks at a time and can net you a few thousand. Would be a roof over your head at least , then bulk cash to live off until the next trial etc.

Sounds like a cruddy situation to be in... but have you tried to find any cheap local hostels or shelters you could use for a few nights to get your bearings and start planning? If all else fails buy a cheap tent and sleeping back and pitch it somewhere quiet and private

Good luck seek finding new accommodation. Thats really **** of your parents to do that to you they could have at least given you time to save for a deposit for some where.

Considering seek refuses to say why he's been kicked out... they could have had a perfectly good reason for it.

Tent in the backyard, out of sight? Go in for a shower / shave while they're out?

Don't tell us that you have no spare key.

seek, swallow your pride and go back.

OR

bloody go find one of the many many rooms that are for rent within short distance of your work.
You go into work when they call you (off shift) because you want to do it, not because you have to. There is no reason for you to be so close just in case they call you.

Oh and agree with the others, thought you were a lot younger than you are

Dunno where all you keyboard warriors think your creature comforts come from but this is a lesson for all you who give it 'I'll tell 'em what I think' or 'I'm leaving home'; life is ******* hard in the real world and you should maybe express your appreciation to the 'rents rather than give 'em ****.

To the OP: Try the Salvation Army and other charity/religeous groups if you can't get housed by your hotel (first choice).

I hope you get sorted soon.

Can you get discount in the hotel you work at, or will that complicate issues?

Long shot, but craigslist.com. Sorry I have no real help.. if you were in the area I'd offer you a room :(

I live in Market Harborough. I might even know you, what's your name?

Yeah, I'm gonna post my details on here... :p :D Good to see another Harborough-ite here though.

Damn, sorry to hear that seek. I guess Thailand is off?

Nope.....

Well after posting here last I tried to get a room at the hotel where I worked, only to be told it was full. So I got a room in another hotel. Then the next day at work my boss pulled a few strings and I'm now living in the staff house :D

It's £140 per month inclusive of all bills, and just two minutes from where I work. :D

No internet access there yet though :(

There are no shared houses available here at the moment (that I can find).

And a single bedroom place will be at least £300+council tax+maintanence bills etc. Not to mention the fact that I would need a deposit+first months rent up front, which I can't afford. Even if the council did pay the deposit I'd still struggle.

Think yourself lucky, rent on a 1 bedroom here is 700 a month + council tax, housing list is about 8-9 years as well :P

I would say that was a pretty good result.

Glad to see it worked out for you.
