HOPEFULLY LESS THAN A YEAR WAIT: New 2018 (MY18) S550.2 Mustang V8 10-speed ordered

you're kidding !!!!!!!!............. i thought it was nothing more than a stupid con years ago........but if it's rising this much bearing in mind it'll vary as well, then it deffo isn't too late.

this has really messed up my mind, ok i need to get my heard around this.

Just leave it alone. You'll kill yourself thinking about it. I had 76 bitcoins when I was at college a few years ago. If I still had them now they would be worth somewhere in the region of £550,000.

I bought some when they were £600 each and sold them for £900 each, only a year or so ago. Thought I'd made a killing netting £3000 profit! If I had them now, they would be worth about £75,000.

Its completely impossible to predict, and it could go either way at any moment. For big gains you have to take risks, but at the same time you can't invest more than you are willing to lose.

Its complicated, and actually a little depressing to trade in. Forget it exists, and you'll be happier. Otherwise, buy some, and forget you bought it. Check the value in 10 years.

At over £7000 a coin at the moment I'm not sure its a good time to invest. I keep expecting it to crash, but it could well just keep going up.

Order placed at Evans Halshaw, Old Trafford on the 2nd Dec for 2018 Magnetic Grey GT 10-speed automatic with Magnaride and climate control seats (standard without custom packs, so gloss black alloys). Decided there's no point in the navigation as I'd be using Android Auto 100% of the time and I heard mixed feedback about the extra speakers + sub, so I'm currently planning a sound system upgrade before the car arrives.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the partial ebony leather centre console and the standard? Is the standard really cheap feeling in comparison?

Great to see that they've managed to get the same hood vents on the EU spec this time around.

One thing that does bother me slightly is the position of the handbrake being on the wrong side and the cup holders being too close to the driver (thereby blocking the gear selector). I'm assuming this hasn't changed on the 2018 model.

F-Types are great cars and all, but at double the price of the GT, I'm happy with my purchase! I wanted something a little rugged and untamed this time around anyway, having come from a BMW F30 335d xDrive.

Custom packs include the nav, shaker and the updated leather centre console.
If as you have done and not selected the custom pack you get the original more hard plastic feeling centre console, it is OK to be fair and only an issue if hard plastics in a car annoy you.
Cup holders remain as they are, but when I drove a LHD model, then I just found the handbrake in the way of drinks, so its not perfect either way.

Enjoy it and post up pictures when you get it and welcome to OcUK forums. :)

Thanks Gibbo! I'll be sure to post lots of pics when I get her :)

I haven't been able to actually find an image of a non-custom-pack centre console... or at least, I haven't been able to tell them apart by browsing on Google Images. I'm just panicking a bit... I'd prefer not to get the custom pack if I can help it, as I'll want to upgrade the audio system anyway but I want to make sure I'm not missing out on some amazing leather trim if it's worth it.

Any idea where I can see the difference? Am I panicking over nothing?

Any current UK Mustang has the centre console your 18 will come with, so just go find a Mustang in the UK and look at that, this is what you will get.
If you order custom pack you will get one with soft touch leather, leather knee bolsters also I believe, it just makes the interior a little more up market around the centre console, no real big thing.

So I think I've worked it out. I also used the US Mustang builder site to compare the 'premium plus' with the standard model.

Seems you're totally right about it not being that big of a deal, I think I'll forgo the option.

Thanks again Gibbo

I have just ordered an orange fury auto with black roof and custom pack 2 from Evans Halshaw Old Trafford. 47k. I'll have to put in some serious overtime now to pay for it ha ha. Have been told by the dealer I'll have to wait up to 7 months for it. I'll just have to slum it in my 2016 ecoboost until then lol.

There are a few hanging around in stock, might bot be exact spec but I think there a couple A10 orange fury's in stock at certain dealers for sale, so they'd have zero wait time.
Still very nice purchase they are lovely cars with no competition at all.
