Horizon Zero Dawn

I was tempted at one stage then I looked at the price
I would not recommend the elite controller, mine is NOT solid! the rubber grips have fallen off and I had to replace the bumper buttons as they are cheap plastic. I would just get a normal Xbox one control as they are just as good if not better for a fraction of the price.

Yep all that happen to mine and pad had never been dropped or anything to break it...

I went with the standard one in the end when I purchased it. Could do with more of a gripy material as it's super smooth. Apart from that i
It's fine.

Version 1 or 2? Big difference

It is expensive, but it’s also a very solId controller that will last a longtIme.

The opposite actually. It has a very short warranty and pitiful QA, and likely due to the fact that it's a lower volume product (hence production isn't as figured out) it's actually less reliable than the standard One gamepad. The internet abounds with elite horror stories. For the money it's a pathetic product, but I guess people who really want the extras have to put up with it.

Xbox series X controller might be useful when that comes along. I still use a 360 controller :D

It will be an obvious evolution i wonder how long it will take for the MS Win10 driver the wired X controller will be my next buy the regular was trash imo. I had broke plastic in mine i had to prize it open tilt it and get the hoover to suck it out and stop the rattle. It was not a screw but regular plastic that snapped from something.

Also lads is this not 144hz friendly then? Normally i would have played 4k 120fps with a controller but 144-240fps with a mouse is equally as good for me since i got the VG259QM.

So, 43fps in 1080 on a 1070? Seems somewhat low. Mind you, having read the link , I do notice that is at 1080 running with every graphics setting to the max, at what the game calls Ultimate Quality

This is just silly for £1000 GPU to be running at 1080p and only getting 80-odd frames and to the eye the game doesn't look any flippin' different to PS4 Pro. Might wait and see if they patch it up for PS5. Might, well WILL wait. *moan moan*
