HOT HOT HOT

Todays top temperature was at Edenfel, County Tyrone in Northern Ireland at 29.9C, so so close to topping 30C but just missing out by a whisker. This is the highest temperature recorded this year in the UK.

There are times I'm glad this flat faces north and gets no sun and this is one of those times. Its noticeably cool in here. Leaving the windows closed in teh daytime and open in the cool of the evening/night helps too. Its actually quite chllly in here at the mo.

Eventually though the heat will reach into here too, then its a bugger trying to sleep.

Haha, you people need to man up and deal with it. I bet when it's freezing next, you'll be moaning about it being too cold and wanting it to be hot. :p

Off work for a fortnight, paddling pool out already, soon to be 3 year old daughter chomping at the bit to get in it :)

Loving the weather, felt like Ibiza yesterday wandering through town - sadly without the hot tourists!

10 o'clock at night and still 24C in Scotland, that's warmer than midday on most of our summers :p

Been a belter of a day but i'll be glad when the nights start cooling.

It's boiling in the house tonight, sleeping under a sheet I think. Had a lovely day sat in the sun watching the cricket though, so can't complain too much

Tomorrow will see for the first time this year temperatures getting above 30C, could see 32C or 33C in some places breaking the 90F mark.

Bring it on.
