HOT HOT HOT

I just made this from pineapple, crushed ice and a splash of cloudy lemonade.

We are getting around 23c but was down in York today at 29c I found it hard going walking about. Dunno how you guys can sleep in the south without aircon.

Weather sites reckon it's only meant to be 14C in Fife atm but it's bloomin roasting, warmer than the low 20's nights we've had lately.

So sweaty and sticky. Hope it's not like this during the week.

I'm also waiting for the Thunderflies to come and get in my screen again. Still got dead ones in there from 3 years ago.

A bit cooler than last year which is nice.

From June 27th there were 19 straight days over 100F/37C, so I'm enjoying the reasonable 30C averages this time around.

Well my plans to sort out stuff round the house has gone down the toilet, but in a nice way. This missus has just ordered we both down tools for the day and go and drink cold beer in the garden.

And today I am absolutely roasting! There again I have spent the day indoors clearing out some bedrooms and getting them ready to be decorated. I feel the need to sit in a bath full of ice now!

We don't.

Its getting too warm at nights now. Apparently tuesday it's supposed to be cloudy and down to 21 degrees daytime but still 18 degrees at night. 3 degrees difference between night and day, wow.

Its 23 degrees in here now, feels nice and cool after working in the garden today. Whenever my arms get sweaty the pollen seems to stick to them and I get huge rashes, itches like hell.
