Can you suggest some ideas for work lunches? The food must be eaten hot and not contain any fruit or veg!
Also I am not interested in making in bulk as more than two days worth will go to waste also I dont want it costin the same as doing an evening meal.. Suggestions greatly aoporeciated

Must not contain veg? You what?
That excludes pretty much everything.
Other than pure meat, fat and carbs.

You can freeze stuff as well, therefore not going to waste. Things like chili is great, also several ways to eat it.

Yep, the no veg thing pretty much kills off every suggestion I was going to make.

By Veg I assume things like a tomato based sauce is fine, just no chunks of identifiable vegetable?

So no chunks of onion or potato but leek and potato soup is good?

Also, sod small batches, buy some suitable sized tupperware and freeze a weeks worth at a time (has to be individual size tupperware as you can't split it up once frozen!).

Would help to know what you have at work to make the food hot. Hob? Microwave? Toastie maker?

Otherwise, chicken soup in a Thermos is literally the only option. Unless you want to melt a bouillon cube in a spoon like a junkie.

hehe you work with the guy so if you can get him to eat veg I will give you a homemade mince pie! also yeah he hates taste of it so veg is totally out oh actually he likes sweetcorn. :D:D

Someone needs to strap him to a table and force feed him veg until he likes it.

So what does he eat, meat pies, potatoes and gravy? Sounds a very limiting diet. Not only nutritionally, but for flavours too.

Actua;ly I know a lot of adults who dont like veg I used to look after an anorexic who hated veg and fruit. :)

What I mean is that veg is often the basis of flavour in most dishes, no fruit or veg must make for some truly bland eating.

Things like peas and spring onions making a good chicken fried rice, a great chicken fried rice, and so on.
