No it doesn't, have you considered that you may just be a terrible cook?:p
I am not a terrible cook actually!!! don't be so rude:eek: also no matter where we have veg from or who cooks it, it makes no difference some food you just dislike. Its like the people who dont like hot drinks they always get funny looks some things are just not very nice tasting.

Sounds more like you have both convinced yourselves that you don't like any veg.

There are a number of foods that I hated in my childhood and disliked in my teens that I now love, our tastes change over time.

Don't get wrong, I love meat, but not eating ANY veg would limit the number of dishes I ate to an amount that would become very boring and repetitive (some might even say bland :p) very quickly.

It's not really people being childish. You're posting in La Cuisine - where people appreciate nice food and actively encourage others to do the same. It's not shocking that you'd get this response (and you got something similar last time iirc?). I think any comments about being bad cooks are purely tongue-in-cheek also.

Back on topic, for hot lunches that contain mostly meat you could try making pasties and then reheating them. Quite cheap to make and you can have a reasonable variety with sauces and different meat types.

Grow up you lot I would expect this in GD not La Cuisine!

In all fairness, you'd get better answers in GD. It's like going into the Motors forum and asking for recommendations on a Reliant Robin because you're not that keen on wheels.

Yes I am aware people appreciate nice food in here we do as well, but nice food doesn't neccessarily need to contain veg, take steak and chips or roast dinners fantastic meals but taste great with or without veg. It was a mere qusetion of if anyone else finds a fiod category such as fruit and veg quite limiting in what they like. I shant bother next time /flounces Out!:p:D

Also, you could try tomatoes, mushrooms, courgettes, aubergine and peas - none of these are vegetables :p

It is a fantastic meal - but for a balanced healthy diet vegetables are crucial. Health implications aside, they are also integral to generic cooking, and add diverse taste/flavours as well as textures. Even if you don't like veg you should try and force some down.

That's why people are incredulous towards your somewhat irrational dislike of vegetables and are perhaps a little terse with their replies.

Personally I cannot imagine life without veg - one of the best things in the world is growing your own salads, tomatoes (technically a fruit), cucumbers, carrots etc... and eating them fresh - so much flavour and ignoring the health benefits, delicious too!
