House sale dragging on because of neighbour.

I wouldn't be a buyer because I wouldn't like it, but there will be some people that it wouldn't be an issue to. It's probably best not to try and hide it, so the buyer will be someone who's ok with it. After all, the buyer will have to live there, and your neighbours won't change. It will take more viewings, but the housing market is very slow in many places anyway.

No, don't do it.

I manage staff at work.

Every single staff who smokes weed always in trouble with HR, always late, off sick constantly, lack of motivation, poor work performance etc endless of problems..

Generally poor wellbeing..they don't look after them.

Just don't do it.

That's quite shallow. I don't smoke any more, but I did smoke for a long time. I have an engineering degree, though I will admit no weed would have made it better, but by most metrics I'm somewhat successful.

There are more potheads around doing good jobs than you realise.

Yeah i'd agree with this. It's certainly more common/socially acceptable than it once was. As above it's just a shame how pungent the smell is.

Only in GD could someone make a joke asking if the weed is good and get this response

Yes indeed. I do like the smell of it, but it's incredibly pungent. I think that's how one of the changes that the stronger strains have created.

Yep. It's like the seal of quality. There are methods people could use to get around it but they never would. Not really the right forum for that kind of discussion though.

I just think OP would need to politely bring it up with his neighbours and he'll be golden. Only an absolute weapon is going to become an argumentative tosspot if someone said their reasons like OP.

If they’re smart, they’ll also not want any trouble with the police or their landlord.

OP could be talking about me to be honest. We’ve got a few dog poos in the garden that I can’t be bothered to pick up. Though 10 is a bit excessive. Maybe 2 or 3. Usually does her business on the morning and evening walks
I like how someone just assumed they were in social hous
This is why developers like to keep social housing separate, much higher chances of having people with "issues", general noise, untidiness, and problems with dog mess, smoking etc..
because only people iin social take droogs, own dogs that poop in the garden or have issues with neighbours.

yet in the papers I often see millionaires battling it out with insane legal fees over the most mundane issues.

You'd assume the ones with money would be more reasonable right?

who was the footbaler that moved fairly recently and his neighbours hated him for throwing parties all the time etc? you'd be better off next to social housing in some cases.

theres a lot of new money out there

You'd assume peope might understand things like pro-rata, probability etc.

how many well dressed people with money do you see sniffing something on a weekend seems like the probability for the upper middle classes to be high as a kite is high indeed.

ITT I learned that smoking weed is equivalent to cooking. Stupid post tbh.
so a bad smell isn't comparable to another bad smell?

oops mean't to edit my above post but went wrong..

It's crazy that some people would prefer living next to a garden full of faeces, literally multiple posters on here have mentioned their garden is full of poop, like they didn't realist it stinks, attracts flies and is awful to look at

do you guys remove them when the sun has bleached them white? like good old turds in the 80s and 90s
