more can be found at my site www.spiderphotos.co.uk (mostly Tarantulas tho..)

Will this do? :D

Not strictly house spiders in the true sense of the word, but they DO live in my house :p

(For anyone who is interested they are Chilobrachys fimbriatus tarantulas. I was mating them the other day).

I hate spiders, irrational I know. But even more irrational, why oh why do I come into threads like these to be scared witless by the photos peope post!!!

I went into the garage the other day to get something out of the freezer we have in there, walked straight into a spiders web with a spider in the centre of it - I'm surprised my shrieks didn't break any panes of glass (shuddering again just thinking about it again)

I think that's cheating, though i do have a nice 9" legspan geniculata living in my room upstairs :P

*throws a spider towards Neon and runs*

We never really have spiders at my house, which is a good thing :p We did have one last week for the first time in a year or two, ugly blighter! I let it out in our front garden. I'm lieing on the floor right now and I keep getting twitches after looking at this thread *looks around*

We get quite a few of those big house spiders at ours (are they called Wolf Spiders?). The biggest i have caught so far wouldn't fit it's legs under a pint class when i tried to trap it, had to use a shoe box. It was under a plastic bag in the bedroom and was scratching away that loudly our lass thought it was a mouse!

I'll take a piccy of the next one i catch.

I ground one into the carpet last night (it was in my hair? ) though I doubt it's very photo genic at the moment :p.

If i find the spider i lost the other day (who shall be named 'Sam Fisher') i'll be sure to take a pic of it, from at least 3 feet away :p maybe even a follow-up pic with the Cilit Bang :o
