How are you in the mornings?

I have no problems with mornings. Up at half five, shower, get dressed and out just after six. I park at work 35-40 minutes later and go for a walk for about an hour before actually going into work.

Fine. I don't need much sleep so feel pretty good in the morning.

I can't understand people who go to bed at 9am and get up at 7.
I read/saw/heard somewhere that the chemical responsible for keeping your asleep becomes toxic after 6 hours anyway, so more sleep makes you feel worse.

No problem getting up early. Getting to work earlier means that I can leave earlier too!

It also means that I will almost never have a lie in on the weekends. I am always up at the crack of dawn, so just use that time to go out for a cycle.

Grumpy because I know I'm 2 hours away from a lucious coffee with a bus, train and taxi journey inbetween, and get gumpier if people ask me questions the second I'm up, annoys me!

Job doesn't affect my morning, just not a morning person at all.

I'm absolutely terrible in the mornings till I finish my first cup of tea at work, then i start to feel fine. I just struggle to wake up....always have done. I set about 6 alarms for work and even then I sometimes oversleep and run late. :(

I am not a morning person and am best described as the Kraken before my first coffee. After that I'm fine.

On the contrary I absolutely love my job!

I like my job, but I hate getting up.

Waking up in the morning isn't about the day ahead. It's about weather you like waking up early.

I don't.

I'm pretty good at getting up. If I'm 'in the zone' I can literally pounce out of bed as soon as my alarm goes off, but usually I just lay there for a minute or two, have a stretch, and then get up. I dislike waking up 6am as much as the next guy, but I'm not a snoozer.

Regardless of what shift I am on (7,8 or 9) My alarm goes off at 05:10 and I am out of bed by 05:15. I use the time to wake up and have some me time before my gf gets up at 6am and starts getting ready for work. If I am on the 7 shift I leave at 6am, 8 shift Ill leave at 7 and 9 shift ill leave at 7:30 (due to traffic I leave longer to get to work). I shower and get changed at work so don't have to do this at home.

I find on the whole I am in a fairly good mood and am fairly awake most of the time but get frustrated when my me time gets disrupted in the morning. The plus side to this is I am also awake by about 7am on the weekends so get much more done.

I used to be one of those people who gets up as late as possible and literally just walks out of the door having gotten up 2 minutes earlier.

Mornings are good. The 27 minute shower is piping hot, feels great. 25 minutes spent standing under the water pondering the meaning of the universe and 2 minutes showering.

Standard :P

At the weekend, I have absolutely no trouble getting up. I hate lying in and will regularly be up and about at 6AM.

During the week, I'm much worse - find it much harder to get out of bed.
