My cat hid in the wardrobe.

Mine used to do that as well come out later looking shell shocked. Mother's springer was absolutely terrified of them

is it just me or is the Media running articles trying to get fireworks banned.

makes me wonder the real reason behind it and is it because fireworks aren't green

My dog used to be fine with it but now is terrified and either hides in gap between sofa and wall, or wants to sit on my lap. As a pup we sat outside and could see our local town's display and he was fine with it. At about 8 years old he started to get scared of fireworks, and weirdly mobile phone sounds. So we cannot watch anything where someone sends a text message as he gets upset with the whoosh sound.

Setting them off again tonight round here, so far that’s every night since Tuesday, about time they were banned from being sold to the public, they should only be allowed at organised events now.

Few friends blocked me on Facebook on Saturday for saying we should ban pets instead of fireworks. They make far more mess, they make far more noise and they kill more people each year. It wasn't well received.
